Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were tangled.

They're also easy to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This top-of-the-line model is fast and nimble and can pick up dirt such as human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish interface that includes a mini map of your house and a few buttons on the screen for manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode in accordance with the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.

The mop's roller has several other clever features, such as a dock that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop The Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops however it's priced at a lower price than the majority of competitors.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves establishing an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.

It is important to note that mapping takes quite a while, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and had to flip over to get it out of the way. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an appliance that can do all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa and additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from recirculating. The battery's life is enough to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that offers impressive features at a reasonable price. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also features an innovative mopping technique which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine debris and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot vacuums/mowers available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of maintenance free operation.

6. S10

This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office clean. It can also reach into the corners of my small apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D-map of your home, so it can know what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike other vacuums.

It also has some outstanding notable features, like an automatic emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to save time. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It offers a broad range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, an additional water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app.  robot vacuum cleaner reviews 's extremely quiet, and it can maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and its battery drains faster than other models we've tried.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did well. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's very quiet and fast and does a good job of getting around tight spots. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than the majority of its competitors however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not tied to your account.

It does a great job of vaccuming but isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
